@drmarvindolittle The song is really called "Átjan" which means eighteen (18). It refers to the person he is singing about, if you understand what I mean. Although it is a westgermannic language it's still closer to old norse than to modern germannic languages, yet a bit further removed than icelandic. Hope that clears things up a bit ;)

Great Song&Singer. I wonder how spell Atjan in German? It sounds like Aitschan or Ätjan, maybe the Titel is misspelled? What is the translation of "Atjan" in English/Holländisch/German/Swedish/Dansk? Or maybe there is no translation, ´cause it´s the Name of a Person? Sorry; im German but no Nazi...u´r Language is the only, from the "european langues indo-germaniques" that i do not understand(not for myself!, the otherones, i also can´t speak, but I understand everey Westgermannic Language ))
