The Klezmatics took Guthrie's lyrics and wrote music for them. More power to them, they're talented musicians, but they're not Guthrie. The tune for the second song here (0:49) is classic, and I don't think anything on the album touches it.14 years ago

The Klezmatics did a whole fantastic album called Woody Guthrie's Happy Joyous Hanukkah. It's way better than this but I appreciate hearing the famous composer sing early versions of these.15 years ago
