The day is sad when knowing about certain scientific things may lead to disliking a sci-fi story. The orbital mechanics of this scene make absolutely no sense. I'm thankful that the music was at least able to pick up the drama where the writing slacked.

Almost a year I've been listening to this track... Now that I've bothered to check if official soundtrack was finally uploaded, I found myself almost liking this version better. It's crude, but somewhat sharper. Of course, I'll learn to like the richness of the original more, but I'll always remember your effort to bring the best of the best before OST was released.Thank you, Yourfavoratemusic!

I've always thought Zimmer to be rather overrated, but as a long time Philip Glass admirer, I have to say he has created a masterpiece of a film score.
