@Tonithenightowl Yeah, he is ten times better than his dad was. Jr. can play 14 instruments, sing better and write the hell out of some songs. Hank Sr. had talent, but he ain't no Bocephus.

OMG I was so unwise to think that Ray Charles was the only good version...smiles...how wrong was I as there are 5 versions...all have their very special style and I have to confess there really is not a great deal of difference in all of the 5 versions as they are all so so beautiful love each version equally...Elvis, Hanks, Deans, Rays and Jerry's...smiles...all of equal quality. Thougth maybe Jerry's was a little more up tempo and dynamic...But the others had that beautiful charismatic quality

@johnwaynejohnson, I have been to eight Hank Jr concerts spanning over three decades. I have seen him play drums, banjo, fiddle, bass guitar, steel guitar, piano, harmonica, and he plays each one damn good! Not to mention he absolutely owns the lead guitar...the man can jam! I know I am leaving out other instruments he can play, those I mentioned I can attest to. Hank Jr is a true legend.
