This has to be the biggest and best festival in U.S history, put on by Steve Wozniak of Apple fame. There were actually two US Festivals one in Sept. 82', (Labor Day) and this one with the fourth day being country day in May & June of 83'( Memorial Day weekend) day 1.) Sat.28th. was New Wave day , Sun.29 was Heavy Metal Day, Mon. 30 was Rock Day. And then Sat. June 4th. was Country day. They kept everything during the holiday and on the following weekend so everybody could attend and party without missing any work and they could draw a larger crowd to offset some of the expenses of the 24 million dollar lose for both Festivals combined. I would have been at this Festival had I rotated back to the States from Japan in time, I didn't make it back until June 12th. of 83'. I think Triumph was one of the better performances on the second day of the Festival (Heavy Metal day) with Quite Riot, Motley Crue, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Scorpions and Van Helen.
