Another great recording by Texan Hank Thompson & The Brazos Valley Boys. I had the pleasure of seeing them perform live back in my college days 1968-69 I think it was. Fond memories of a time gone-by. Hank was late coming out on stage & the warm-up band said he was backstage getting drunk? Not sure IF that was true or not, but they announced that he just couldn't sing well unless he was drunk? In any case, he was a very talented artist/singer/performer & left an impact on country music.Related Videos
