It's hard to describe Hank Snow. Not the greatest singer the world's ever known, but he had a certain magic about the way he put sad ballads across and his guitar playing was something else. One of the top ten C&W artists of alltime without doubt. The longevity of his career proves this and another thing he was one of Marty Robbins' favourite singers and Marty tells Hank this on his new 'Spotlight' series and then launches into an impression of the singing ranger which makes both of them smile.

Hank Snow was way out. I didn't realize that till I got older. I've got a large collection of his music, and it's amazing.
