Thank you for the posting! This song brings back many pleasant memories. Something I never realized before; Flying Cloud is really an up tempo Reindeer Boogie, written the same year. No one has ever accused Hank Snow of plagarism, and this could have been written first; but he and his wife might have pulled a George Harrison, with 'Rainbow' echoing in their ears. Nevertheless, with that wonderful band, and unique songs like 'I'm Movin' On',and 'The Golden Rocket', Hank Snow was a true original.

If you mean that this song is a type of post grad piece in Snowology, I would agree with you. That first guitar break may be the most singular Hank Snow solo in any of his songs. The frenetic pace is almost over the top, but it's the kind of thing that serious Snow fans love. This was a 1952 B side[of I Went to Your Wedding], but I suspect that Hank wouldn't have minded if it had been a hit in its own right, since it was a natural descendent of his huge up tempo hits of 1950 and 1951.
