My friend Stephanie- and her friends in Niernberg- knew Haindling. They laughed over a story about when they were in a car or... limousine with him. Some random guy got in the limo with them and Haindling thought it was Davide Bowie. It wasnt Bowie but he thought it was and would say things like "share the champagne with David Bowie " and so forth . When the guy got out of the limo Haindling just kind of nodded and matter of factly said "goodbye Bowie" .
