I was 13 when What It Is to Burn came out and I fucking loved it. When Say Hello to Sunshine came out, I could not listen to their first album, the follow up was so good that every time I heard the original, it felt like something was missing. There are very few bands that can change their style so drastically and pull it off so well.

man...such a heartbreaking shame, they had a blistering effect on my ears when they released that first album....then you just sat and waited for so long...and nothing...and then finally...but then nothing....it's so bizarre. :(
