What I've noticed is that Nana is the only one I've come across that has great French pronunciation while singing this song. I even compared to Callas and even she pronounces the "r" as a "spanish" would. Does anybody know of any other singer that sings "Habanera" with French pronunciation??? Some how I love how it sounds better this way.

I STRONGLY DISagree with the uploader's statement. The normally pleasant Mouskouri has crossed a bridge to far here. She sounds RASPY and  STRAINED. Opera simply requires more voice than our dear Nana has to give. She should leave the  " heavy lifting "  to the weight lifters like Antonacci , Gheorghiu , Netrebko and the like.
