Went on a holiday to Perth just before Cohesion came out and it was playing on all the local stations and in the shops. Coming from Victoria where they don't get much of a run on mainstream media - it was like I was holidaying in a magical land that loved Gyro as much as I did!! Good times.

taking a stab in the dark the opening coastal scene looks like somewhere around esperance the salt pan scenes look like possibly around the nungarin side of baandee lake near merredin but could be any one of thousands of salt pans the scene in the forest with the blackboy trees could be anywhere around perth/toodyay area in the national parks the rock scene could be mt stirling,mt caroline or kokebin rock.. just a few guesses
