If you REALLY want to hear Grissom ripping, get yourself a copy of Joe Ely's "Live at Liberty Lunch". Great tone, some extended solos, just deadly rock and roll playing.

Larry Carlton is responsible for so many solos on so many hit records it's ridiculous. Robben Ford is one of my favorites, but Michael Landau provided more inspiration in my career than anybody. Easily the most recorded guitar player in history, has more incredible tone variations, cang hang in so many different genres. You simply can't get away from this guy, whether it's him doing everybody's 'live' gigs, everybody's album, or just hanging at he Baked Potato.
