Considering the amount of influence Sikth has had over the entire djent scene, they are quite rough around the edges, which I think is fantastic! The people who polish up and compress their mixes to the point where it loses all humanity could stand to learn from these guys. Fantastic playing with just enough roughness to make it sound unique an awesome.9 years ago

If anybody is wondering what strings to use, I'd recommend getting a set of 10-52 which are skinny top, but heavy bottom, and also getting a 54 gauge string for the lowest string. i just put a 54 on my PRS for the sikth tuning and it seems to work perfectly, and doesn't really cause any discomfort if i tune that low string back up so it's in a Drop D style tuning.9 years ago
