you can't really judge them. they're assigned guitar parts. Paget is lead guitar only because matt has to do vocals maybe if they literally did a guitar battle it would be clearer. But paget is assigned harder parts to play so.

Alexi Laiho is the king!!!!Synister gates is also really talented of course, but alexi is my fav.I think you can't compare tuck and paget so well, cause paget is more solo oriented, while tuck has to sing.I know there are some guitare players who also play solos and sing, best example is alexi laiho ;))

+James Burrell, actually the best solo guitarist is Synyster Gates of Avenged, I respect your opinion, Kirk Hammett is an awesome guitarist, and is one of my all time favorites, in with Synyster Gates, Michael Paget, Matt Tuck, James Hetfield, Dave Mustaine and many more, but out of all those guitarist's, Syn has got to be the best, he was raised around guitar, and I think knows his way around guitar better then any other guitarist, he is one of the greatest guitarists of all time on the list of 5, he is 2nd for best solo guitarist, the first is Zakk whylde, but zac is a rhythm guitarist and lead guitarist, but he mostly plays rhythm where he has another guitarist play the solo's sometimes

Padge for me becouse matt plays only sometimes he is there at main for singing. But he is also lead gutarist. But not bfmv but for axewound.

Guiannis666ful your reason is not correct, have you ever find a lead singer playing lead at sing time? if the lead vocal playing lead guitar, why hire another guitar player. moreover unlike jay, paget cannot sing. so he can just play guitar
