I think he just assumes he can get into shows for free and stuff... goes backstage and drinks the bands beer and eats their deli trays. The independent rock music scene in America really engenders a sense of entitlement a lot of the time... I'm guilty of it myself. I can imagine Beatle Bob thinking to himself "I've been to 10,000 shows... why am I not on the list tonight?" This entitlement, of course, is compounded after seven or eight beers. I should have been beaten up many times over.

Beatle Bob takes away from the brilliance of this song. I don't know Beatle Bob, but what has he created. Money and time affords you the opportunity to see bands or amass albums. All this really doesn't matter, creating sonic masterpieces does.
