GTR were a rock band founded in 1985 by former Yes and Asia guitarist Steve Howe and former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett.

In comparison to the two leaders' earlier work within progressive rock, GTR's work followed more of an Adult Oriented Rock format.

The band was short-lived, lasting for two years and one album. Hackett has subsequently been strongly critical of the project, though not necessarily of the other musicians involved in it.

Loved all the tunes that got pumped out of that little mid-80's prog-rock spike: ELP Touch & Go, Asia Heat Of The Moment, Yes Owner Of A Lonely Heart, GTR WTHRTM. Everybody was pooping out music with prog-rock flourishes for like a 12-18 month period....Awesome times!!!!

I remember when this song came out...80s was probably the best era of R&R....the music, the beats, the performers...lyrics....everything seem to fit...Max Bacon was the frontman....just a good old fashioned song you can jam too....great guitar work...percussion too....nothing flashy....just good music.

Grandioso escuchar a GTR, Se nota la influencia de Yes, Asia y Emerson Lake and Palmer. Una de las mejores canciones de los 80s!

Heard this on 80s on 8 this morning. I remember this song. When listening to it, I wondered if it was Dennis DeYoung singing.

Howe and Hackett have created a lot fantastic music, but this is horrible. It sums up all that went wrong with the rock music biz in the '80s. I blame it on cocaine.

Steve Howe must have had a variable mortgage on his English country manor for him to stoop to this. "Hey Steve, we're putting this band together that's even shittier than Asia. What? You're in? Great. Bring your shitty processor rack too. The record company loves that sterile sound..."

I just happened to stumble across this. Haven't heard this song in years; always loved it. I'm a hard rock and metal listener, but my past has included love and appreciation of many types of music.I loved Yes and old Genesis. Despite what you may think of this song, or GTR in general, I don't think ANYONE could deny the incredible level of talent present in this group. Steve Howe, Steve Hackett, Max Bacon, Jonathan Mover, Phil SpaldingAll of these artists were at the very top level of the game. Howe and Hackett were especially influential guitarists. Like many other "Supergroups" the karma as a whole just wasn't there. They didn't start out together as a cohesive band, and there was a lack of direction as to where they should go. Despite all this, it wasn't a BAD work for the time, and what it set out to do. The album is quite forgettable for me, but I will alway love this SONG. The exquisite guitars of Howe and Hackett and Max's uplifting vocals will always bring warmth and a smile to me.
