By the time Grip really came into their own with 'Solidify', they were dismissed as spent forces. 'Incorporated' totally slipped through the cracks on release. Nobody except the most dedicated fans knew it even dropped. All i know is that, for my own personal taste, Grip were far more interesting than Slayer in the last 15 years. Better than most of those so called nu-thrash that people are jerking themselves over too.

i agree totally man, but i ended up loving the entire band, esp Gus. Grip Inc can not exist without him, because his vocals added so much tension and contrast to the material Dave and Gus wrote. the combination was volatile and interesting, and totally and utterly unique. i can't help but feel the reason Grip were constantly dismissed was because of the Slayer baggage Dave inevitably carried with him, and the fact that Gus was an older punk and not a metalhead. the scene was more closed then.
