The trio is 1-3/4 min. of white hot incandescent romanticism. If Clara didn't like it, it probably scared her. This trio is on fire. Thank you for the post.

Great performance! Lots of energy! It's funny that Clara Schumann didn't like the middle section (beg. 1:17) but I think it is Brahms at his romantic best (maybe that's why she didn't like it!).
