*A working class hero is something to be*صاحب تی‌شرت خوب بودن خودش یکجور خوش‌شانسی‌ست.

I'm Indonesian. I think this video is not only describe life in the Sudan, but also as has been the case in Indonesia, especially in rural areas lagged far from the city.

Has anyone here thought about that Lennon might have put irony in the repeated phrase " a working class hero is smth to be" ?Its more than criticism from the perspective of a class. It is a criticism of classes itself.. in my opinion.

For those who love the song enough to sing along..."Working Class Hero"[John Lennon cover]As soon as your born they make you feel smallBy giving you no time instead of it allTill the pain is so big you feel nothing at allA working class hero is something to beA working class hero is something to beThey hurt you at home and they hit you at schoolThey hate if you're clever and they despise a foolTill you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rulesA working class hero is something to beA working class hero is something to beWhen they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd yearsThen they expect you to pick a careerWhen you can't really function you're so full of fearA working class hero is something to beA working class hero is something to beKeep you doped with religion and sex and TV,And you think you're so clever and you're classless and free,But you're still fucking peasants as far as I can see,A working class hero is something to beA working class hero is something to beThere's room at the top they are telling you stillBut first you must learn how to smile as you killIf you want to be like all the folks on the hillA working class hero is something to beA working class hero is something to beA working class hero is something to beA working class hero is something to beIf you want to be a hero, well just follow meIf you want to be a hero, well just follow me

John Lennon would be proud the way green day put it together. I think it's just so full of unbelievable sad reality. And horrible genocide THAT WAS HAPPENING IN MY LIFE TIME. . PRAYING FOR THE PEOPLE OF DARFUR.

To the people of Darfur, and all other war torn countries of the world, you must be free. Be free to think for yourself, to speak your minds freely, to travel where you want, and have absolutely no one telling you otherwise. May God bless you always.

the only thing that irritates me about this song is that he pronounces the words that end with an ee sound, sound like "eer"
