Too bad they hardly insult their fans anymore. Sure, being nice to fans makes a successful band (as you can see, they're still as good in this era of being a little more tidy).. But saying Fuck You even to the biggest fan ever, to MTV (who broadcasts and supports them, and to everyone else - can also make you the biggest band in the world, if you're the right person to pull off such a thing. And that was Green Day. It's just a little funny hearing them play this song nowadays. :P13 years ago
