yeah, I guess they pre-recorded it. but hey look you can clearly hear the bass till mike starts counting, so at 2:09 I think there' no bass, but after that there's bassline again.10 years ago

If you put headphones in you can hear the bassline but Mike Dirnt is counting down with his fingers and not playing bass! The only other thing is he has an extra recorded bassline to make the bass louder and thicker which could be possible. Three piece bands with one guitarist sometimes have a over-dub pedal that can record a certain part and play it over so that the guitar is thicker without getting in another guitarist.10 years ago
