Wow this brings a tear to my eye, it brings me back when American Idiot first took off & me & all my friends would be listening to it. It just goes to show how popular they were at that time where Green Day were probably surprised to all the success American Idiot achieved. It just surprises me so much that they were artists of the month at this period of time, the funny thing is that this album didn't stop getting attention until 2007 which is crazy for 3 years. It kinda sucked tho when they came back in 2009 with 21st Century Breakdown & it didn't achieve anywhere close to American Idiot status. It was a great album don't get me wrong but I personally think there could of been more potential to it. Hopefully they can make a comeback this year (2015) & achieve American Idiot status again & be as well known as they were. But such a great band, they defiantly deserve that spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
