Jani and Jack had been friends for decades. Jack and GW hand picked Jani as a temporary fill in for Jack while he recovered from his major health issues to later return to the band after his recovery. No he wasnt a replacement and no he isn't Jack and never claimed to be. I was friends with bith of them and they are snd were extraordinarily talented artists. We alk develooed our individual demons.
