Great WhiteBanda norteamericana de hard rock formada en Los Ángeles, California, en 1977, que ganó popularidad en los ochenta y comienzos de los noventa. Consiguió bastante presencia con sus vídeos en el canal MTV, especialmente con la canción «Once Bitten, Twice Shy», del álbum Twice Shy de 1989, pero como la mayoría de grupos de este género, empezó a decaer tras la eclosión grunge, con bandas como Nirvana y Pearl Jam, en las que se centró la atención de emisoras y prensa.Las influencias de la banda, próximas al blues y al rock de los 70, les hizo desarrollar un sonido cercano al hard rock clásico. Un buen ejemplo es su disco debut, con coros de Don Dokken que, junto con Michael Wagener, produjo la grabación.
