Track 12 of Nichole Nordeman's 2002 album Woven and Spun. The song speaks about finding gratitude in both the good times and the bad times in life.

"Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up." (Daniel 3:17-18)

...thank you Lord for being the Light that never fades in this dark and mourning world. Let this be my prayer tonight.

Possibly one of the most beautiful song of praise ever! My daughter sang this one night before the evenings sermon. The Pastor said "Well...how am I to preach after hearing that?" He went straight to the invitation and several people gave their hearts and lives to Christ that night. May times these songs are written with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and He will use them to point us toward Christ. Sometimes these are the sermons themselves. On that night, God used one of His 14 year old, 85 pound servants to deliver His word!!! How awesome is He!!!!

This song reminds me to look around to find God's answer to my prayer. It's not Him does not answer, but it's me don't see...

This song was played in my church service a few weeks back as a contemplation after the sermon. The words really spoke to me as I've recently been struggling with ill health and ended up in hospital a few times. I keep reminding myself how much god has given me and though he may not take away the physical pain how his spirit sits with me bringing comfort through grace. Part of me is scared to ask for healing in case the prayer remains unanswered and i don't expect a miracle but whatever he provides this song reminds me to be grateful in the good times, the bad times and everything in between.

Gratitude works like Magic. It instantly changes from Negative to Positive Mindset and It also brings more of what we dwell on. Just FYI, I am using an iPhone app called "Thanks A Lot" by Lokesh Hanumappa. This is really cool app, because I can express my Gratitude across all the key areas of my life like Physical, Mental, Emotional, Financial, Relationships, Professional and Spiritual. It reminds me? at a set? time and I can share my blessings to my friends and family too. Thanks A Lot For U

Just got to hear Gracia Burnham the other day. She shared this song. She said that while her and Martin with in the jungle with the Abou Sayiff terrorists, they prayed these things and when she was rescued, her friend gave her the words to this song. So appropriate. It is so humbling to know that even in the worst of times we can still praise YHVH for His provision. Whatever it is......HalleluYAH!
