[After listening to Bob Weir on a recent late night show, I may be wrong, and you may be right about the following lyrics! I have a better argument, but "DIME" may indeed be correct!!] Can you correct a lyric? At the 1:40 mark, it makes a lot better sense to sing, "The Cards ain't worth a damn," which rhymes with "do-dah MAN" and, "play your HAND," rather than "DIME", as you have written.

yes, the song had occurred to me by hearing someone singing it yesterday!!! yes, yes, yes,... & I was like "oh my goodness, I.love.that.song.too!!! & the broad that he was singing it to goes "what's that song??? oh, I don't know it!!!" huh??? what??? really??? alright, then you can keep on w/ your pop music miss. but in the meantime, I'll just keep 'truckin' because I'm very bored,...w/ my current situation,... ohhhh yeah, truckin, out of massachusetts,... over to the west coast,... & there's just no coming back hoooommmmeeee,... truckin, to a new lifestyle, you're with me, or you're not, I'll have no problem going @ it all alllllooooonnnneeee,...truckin,... being a free spirit,... just will bring me happiness, w/ or w/out yooouuu,.... ohhhh, ohhhh, & please don't get the wrong impression, because I do love you, but we got one life to live, & I refuse to keep living it wasting days, so if I've hurt your feelings, just suck it up,... because like I said, I'll go aallllloooonnnneeee!!! truckin, you want to come with me, then come alonnnngggg,..."
