Anyone can be a dead head it doesn't matter age, and if there is some kind of society within the culture that wants too be put above everyone else then check yourself, everyone gets something different from the music, it's not about seniority, because what the dead have created will carry on forever, this strange trip however long is not over, but is continued through the music, and you can't stop this music.

I was in a grave yard, and saw a headstone, it was a Dead Head, and her name and dates. I go back and visit sometimes.

i listen to the greatful dead but as a sign of respect towards true deadheads i dont wear their logo or anything. im not a deadhead but i really like the greatful dead. a lot of my year-olds should act in the same way as i do. just as a sign of respect

I was at this show. The idiot with the firecrackers tried, but failed, to interrupt this sweet version of a wonderful song. Many claim "Brokedown Palace" as the Dead's single loveliest tune; this one is mighty close, too.
