We only missed 1 show this tour and that was because we had to catch up on sum sleep and that we did like 40 hours of un interupted good old sleep. Then the second half of the tour started and we picked up where we left off.

You are so right on about Jerry rockin and boppin!!! Seems like he loved this song, really gave all he had when he played it. They must have had such an amazing party on that train and it's like he shared a little bit of that every time he played this one.

This song at Giant's Stadium in 1991 was the moment of most pure joy I ever felt at a Dead show, and I saw some good ones. 1:16. here - LOL.

This is great... I was at this show and I don't really remember this song... I do however remember Stir it Up... What I also remember is this show kicked off the spring tour in 1988. I know the next night is often sited as one of the great shows of this period, but look at how Jerry is rocking... bopping around... I can't think of another time during the late 80s-early 90s when he was so into it... Yes there are numerous lyrical flubs... but the energy is just fantastic. Thanks for the post.
