Although I wish these guys all the success and recognition they deserve, in a way I appreciate that there is a much more personal connection I feel to this music as a result of so few people knowing who they are. I like the other albums they put out, however MJM and Copperopolis are the best in my opinion. I feel

@Andreas: I agree with you. Mighty Joe Moon and Copperopolis are two of the most often listened to albums in my music collection. I will go a few to six months without listening to them, and then listen non-stop for weeks! I used to wonder the same thing about why they didn't get much notice with the exception of "Mockingbirds" charting I.

It's been a while since someone commented, and thats a shame in itself. This band was maybe the greatest nineties band ever, and somehow nobody played them. If anyone likes conspiracys I think this maybe one of them, Grant Lee Phillips; This has greatness written all over it. Your lyrics are great, and the sound of the band... amazing.
