This song was written by Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad and was recorded and released in 1970. Wow! It really is hard to believe that was 41 years ago....man does time fly....I hope you enjoy the version my son Paul and I put together. Thanks Paul for helping the old man out....

I see. I have to go through the trouble of recording a damned video and posting it in order to demonstrate an extremely easy song to play; a song that even marginally mentally retarded folk like yourself can (try to) play? OK. I'll have it done in a year or two.

Wow, you are really are one disrespectful and negative person. You offer no constructive criticism. You are what is considered a "YT Troll" who goes around making negative after negative comment. You can't deny it, I've read your comments to others. The most valid comments I receive are from other "actual" musicians. You certainly are not one of them. If you are going to criticize at least be constructive and not hateful. Will you upload your own cover version?

I understand. You're too stupid to understand how bad you truly are, regardless of how many negative comments you get and how many corrections you're receiving. Look this tune up on YT for any number of correctly covered versions and get it straight. And go back to school for some spelling and grammar lessons as well. Cheers.

Once in a while a run into douch bags likes yourself who make unsubtantiated comments. Hope you didn't choke on your own vomit. An no I can't hear you. Why don't you upload your own cover version and show us how it should sung and played. Otherwise F off you stiff.

Please see the You Tube Video: Old Spice Navy Spirit Spot! Garrovickius therein forever holds the Helm and Ship of Uncle Albert at least metaphorically for He is Symbollically speaking special Guardian,Keeper, and Custodian of Marino's Wheel of the Law on side NAUT(the Reverse Side) of the Strobil!

@TheDrumChannel Thanks Joe....Yeah it's hard to believe that these classics that are still so "today" and continually being played by the younger generation are that old....Time flies...my two boys play guitar, bass and drums...it is cool when we can play together...I am hoping to do more of that now that the colder weather is coming and we are indoors more...You Rock Joe...You are a top notch drummer and have the best smile when you play...you are really enjoying it as it shows...keep rocking

Wow 41 years - yup that's about being that I was about 7 when I started playing GFR and I'm almost 50. Great job both of you - Don't know how i missed this. Great job! The fact that you and your son are jammin is just awesome in itself.

@kcycrs Hey......thanks so much for watching. Your compliment means alot. GFR was a great hard driving rock band with alot of sound coming from the bass and drums which really defined alot of their sound. The funny thing is that I play drums and my son plays bass so we could have added the tracks. I decided to make it simple but stay within the framework of the song.....Thanks again....Nick (& Paul)

@rhythmantic Thanks Sal.....that is one of the great things about music when it brings you back in time. There are certain songs that bring me back to specific times in my life. Sometimes it is not even any important event but just reminds me of a place I was at. The wah wah pedal is a cool effect. We actually did the cover over because we didn't use it and I knew I'd be kicking myself. ..... kind of like doing a drum cover of Honky Tonk Woman without a cowbell...

Nick & Paul, nice one. You guys sound great together. I'm a fan of wah -wah. This song reminds me of my last year in the USAF where I was stationed in Anchorage Alaska. Good audio mix. Keep 'em coming.
