Interestingly, neither of these out of tune clowns bears any resemblance whatsoever to Keith Richards. Keefs guitar playing style is fairly unmistakable and this ain't it

Kim JensenIn Gram Parson's defense, there has never been one iota of a fact that Gram Parsons was physically violent with anyone. Bitch was probably pissed because Gram turned her down.

babyhughey100And you know this for a fact because a jealous Jagger said so ?

hockleyramblerWhy didn't Gram take credit for it ? For one thing, Parsons didn't need money, he was a trust fund baby coming from one of the wealthiest families in Florida. He and Richards were good friends and Jagger felt left out. So as not to create a divide between Richards and Jagger, Parsons thought he'd just bow out. The Stones weren't used to people with integrity, so they just let it stand and put their name on the writing credits. To Parsons, friendship was more important than money, because he had plenty money. Parsons was between bands at that time and being the kind individual he was, was most probably taken advantage of. Jagger's ego was too big to lose his grip on this particular song to someone else.

Not for nothin but these guys aren't in tune, and if anyone is surprised in this day and age that Mick & Keith didn;t give writing credit to someone else, well. don't be surprised, They're famous for that and for wangling their names onto songs they had nothing to do with composing. Dylan threw out an entire session that they turned up at.

Even if there were no religion, we would still have music to fight over. And so we must laugh ... just to keep from crying

You folks do realize that this is more than likely two stoned dudes in a basement with a cassette.recorder and 2 guitars just noodling to this tune and has nothing to do with a Stones recording.

I believe I read Keith saying Graham Parsons wasn't involved with this song and also these recording don't have Graham Parsons on them.

I agree, it always works like this. At first it sounds really messy then after a while of working on it and getting the ideas right, it all comes together
