Thought it was worth uploading for a second time with full audio. fpdiii has got some terrific GP clips so check em out if you haven`t already. This wonderful song is as close to perfect pop as you`re ever going to get I think (not the only Graham Parker song I feel that way about!). It`s off GP`s 1983 album "The Real Macaw". Most of the brilliant Mr Parker`s back catalogue is still available so go and do some shopping!

As I've gotten older I love this song! I'm 53 now and some think that's almost near death's door. I exercise a lot and don't do stupid stuff and I am in better shape than most teenagers who are sitting around texting. This song is true. Stay positive because life indeed gets better.13 years ago

I have the fondest memories of this whole album. When I was much younger and still living on campus I had a boyfriend named Brad who played guitar and showed up at parties to play this song as well as others. He was great! lol When my art gallery/apartment was burglarized: my turntable was stolen with this album on it...16 years ago
