Although i don't understand the purpose of of doing it and how it contributed to the video, the leaf he picked up is from an oak tree. Wish the video included him kicking an acorn down the hill or something, cause i collect them and that would have made the video more relatable.

I can't discern any specific emotion from this piece. I feel like it's some form of satire. The tunes just don't mesh with feelings of sorrow or fear being conveyed in the lyrics, if anything they sound more like the curiosity found in the 'score' of a Monk episode.
