This song is so cryptic. It feels the singer is giving a raspy speech but the way he speaks comes off very equivocated and yet comforting somehow even though I can't pick up half of what he says.

In a somewhat weird way, this song reminds me of the Walking Dead."Some kind of nature, some kind of soul."I feel it's about how the walkers are still "people" in a way (they can still walk to some extent, and consume food, e.g flesh), but are technically dead. This gray area between being alive and being lifeless is probably what describes the walkers: creatures that are somehow a kind of nature or soul that one could not exactly define."Oh Lord, forgive me."This is probably about the survivors, Rick, Daryl, Glen and every other living survivor who have done at least one thing that was either morally questionable or crazy, just for the sake of living another day. They regret these things that they have done, but know that no matter what they do, they will never become who they were once then, like what that Clara girl from season 4 told Rick, about how "you don't get to come back from things".
