"Let Love In" seems to be the mellowest Goo Goo Dolls effort to date, but hey, that doesn't mean it's not great music. I admit that the album took the longest to reel me in. A strange thing about this CD is that I think the two Robby Takac songs (Listen and Strange Love) are the best songs on it. Robby has always been interesting but a little hard to take at times. Strange Love seems like a big departure, but still a great song. Love It!!!!!

ROBBY IS AWESOME! i think the rawness of his voice gives character to the song. almost like a somber tone. these guys are amazing no matter if they changed their sound. if they would have kept the raw punk sound-which is awesome- they would have never got as popular as they are now so yeah. Goo Goo Dolls are just amazing XD

Since the dude singing isn't their "real" singer, I'll give the song the benefit of the doubt, but at the same this is such a trite and unoriginal song. I think it may have been 100 times better if they hadn't overproduced his vocals. The grit is what makes the song and they made it sound more melodic than he can muster . . .

i don't usually dig (ha, never used that word before!) well, i don't dig voices like this usually, but this is awesome. i love his voice! and i especially love the goo goo dolls. out the the '4' goo goo dolls songs i've heard, lol, they're all awesome. woo!

uhmmmm... yup, it's the bass player. and all the other songs that are sung in "this voice" are by robby, too. and careful... you're talking to one of the greatest robby fans on earth... *warningly raises forefinger in joke* ;) funny how tastes differ: i especially dig that deep voice of his (which doesn't mean i didn't love Johnny's voice just as much!), i think it's totally sexy. but of course, you're entitled to your own opinion - and i'm entitled to mine. cool? cool. :)
