I find anything pre-SSCW to be garbage. SSCW is incredible and A Boy named Goo is their best work. Dizzy up the girl is also phenomenal. You punk dummies don't know anything about music. Are any of you aware that punk music is the most simplistic music out there? Let me guess, you also think Green Day and Blink 182 are legendary. LOL

Changing your image and sound to conform to the mainstream to sell more records and make more money is the definition of selling out, im not saying selling out makes a band bad nor am I judging your taste in music. But don't kid yourself they sold out.

wow dude it took you 9 months to come up with that. face it your living in the past the goo's have always been good and the just because you dont like the song they have written in the past 10 years or so doesnt mean they sold out it just means you dont like it

Johnny=coporrate cash in and change in direction they wre TOLD to make. Their real vision was robbie as lead singer and lyricist. Not those sorry johnny puke ballads that made their appearance on here on half this record and would proceed to turn them into a radio friendly joke. They got this idea in their heads around time of this album that they were tired of toiling in obscurity and were given a chance to sell out-change everything they once were, even the frontman image of bon jovi wanna be.

No you shut up. They sold out on this dubious record. So fucking slick, so fucking corporate, so fucking mainstream homogenation of aonece punk-ish band. Their first 2 records are the real Goo's, the real sex maggots. The real love dolls. Sorry but this record was the beginning of the end and the sign for me to forget about them forever. Oh and 'self titled' and 'jed' still make anything else they did afterwards look like a total joke. This song & 'laughing' is the last remnants of the past.

I've talked punk rock with two of my teachers and both have told me about the old Goo Goo Dolls. One of them, my newspaper teacher, was telling me about how he'd always go to their shows back in new york and he said that him and everyone else we're pissed to hear their modern stuff haha do I have cool teachers or what? The other one used to sing in a punk band and they opened for AFI once back in the day

@RandomlyFailNom I think I wrote that comment years ago... But I will shut the fuck up. Given I'm not on this video anymore :) Yes you can't comprehend what selling out is but I do. And from "Hold Me UP" on they indeed did exactly that. Get yoursefl a copy of the self titled and jed and compare those to evertyhing that came after and tell me if this is the same band or is a processed watered down commercial version of it contrived just to sell records? Bingo. You got it.

@Sean021122 shut the fuck up seriously -_- goo goo dolls still play their original stuff at their concerts and both sides of the goo's were good... theres no such thing as selling out because johnny wrote what he and the band wanted to write so its not selling out

Yes Robbie is singing on this one, and he used to be main singer/songwriter for the band on their first two albums, before they sold out and enlisted Johnny to write all those puke cheesy ballads. You could say Johnny's ego and record label execs advice got too big for their bridges. And the result was silly radio friendly 90's Goo Goo Dolls :(

The Sex Maggots sold out on this cd and went much worse in every record after this unfortunately... If you want to hear them when they were more punk, piss, and vinegar (and less style, sellout, pose, and poppy) check out their first record and Jed. Nothing lasts forever and they remained an amazing real band for two records.
