The Goos were one of the first "90s bands" I got into, as I was a bit of an 80s music holdover/loyalist lol But their melodies and lyrics finally won me over. Great song, I think anyone who's ever felt shy, introverted, a loner, misunderstood, anxious, ignored, invisible, awkward, stuttering, or just has trouble articulating the thoughts from their brain to their mouth can relate. Or in my case, it was all the above lol But at least I can put it out there via here :-) Still feel that way a lot. Shame about the people who've said they're more jaded now, as people put so much stock into "growing up", but I think there's something to be said for having feelings and emotions that honest and real - painful as they may sometimes be lol "When everything feels like the movies, yeah, you bleed just to know you're alive." Shame for some/most people that apparently gets lost along the way. Not sure where I got messed up lol But yeah - thanks Goos for helping me through the 90s/college :-)
