Ive got this on dvd, ive watched it so many times over the years. i love them so much. ive seen them 7 times and he always changes guitar for each song due to the tuning. Going to see them here in uk October for 2 dates. leeds and Nottingham. Ive met him twice already, hope to make it a third !!

This is probably one of their best performances, but let's not make them out to be martyrs. Not a lot of sacrificing here. And the GGD play in a lot of different tunings, the guitar switches are for these tunings and presets, not because they are shorting out.

yeah, the frequent change in guitars is definitely due to change in tuning for most songs. rain/water shouldn't make a guitar short out, but it will definitely work to ruin the finish on it.

well some off the guitar might have become a real reck but he keeps changing guitars cause all the songs are in different tuning :P

most big bands do this, every concert i've been to they have done it almost every song. I'm pretty sure the main reason is cause guitars tend to go out of tune so they just bring them different ones alot and tune the others while they're playin and just rotate em.

amigo, i think his guitars isn't shorting, every songs have different tuning that's why he grabs other guitar in between songs. they are really really great, isn't it that wonderful playing in the rain/^^
