Amazing performance, for the video it would have been better to pan the guitars the other way around to match what we see. The up tempo version has got a lot of groove, but how do you play that fast?!

So some of the arpeggios are the same used by the metal players but. the moving chords every measure is the difference in the styles. Metal players often are playing in one tonal context for minutes in jazz it typically changes more regularly. In modern jazz it's a constant flow under pinning the soloist
