@DarthKrattus Yeah I guessed you didn't mean this song I was just being facetious. I don't see that every song has to be crafted with an entirely serious or complex outlook. I enjoy their cheesier 'funnier' songs as much as the others. Unfortunately it's just a fact of life that as bands grow older their songs often reflect that, so a shift in lyrical themes & song writing styles in inevitable.

@DarthKrattus Yeah, songs like this about people dying are pretty inane, you can tell they just wrote it for a joke... Oh wait. Would you prefer for them to still be writing about being teenagers when they're 40 odd, are married & have children? They write about things that are relevent to them now, just as they did when they were younger & different things made them angry. I used to think I was hard done by & clued up on politics too. Things change as you grow older. (He says, aged 21. Oops.)

@TheAstro2010 oh come on! Saying it was bob rock is simply absurd. He produced one of their albums, who's to say that they didn't choose to write and produce music like that on their own. Remember Bob rock didn't write the music THEY did. I still like them though. The new album wasn't all that bad actually. Sometimes it's nice to see a band cool down and write something different than usual.

This performance is amazing. I hate to say it because I love the offspring but it's too good. I suspect that the vocals were overdubed later.
