Why in your opinion Cole Reed do you find christian rap soft? I admit I'm hoping to try and make a christian rap album, and am hoping to not only have hard lyrics, but banging beats. Truth needs to be spoken and lies need to be killed

Good Cypher, love Bizzle most of the time! the Trayvon comment annoyed me, yes it was a tragedy, but the way most of the black community responded was worse. Nobody was there and nobody knows what happened exactly. According to several witnesses Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman punching him repeatedly. Sad story that really had very little to do with race.

I had a comment on here before about how I wasn't okay with Bizzle using the "n-word" in songs like this, but I took it down. I still don't approve of Bizzle's use of that word, but I realize that a lot of the other Christian rappers I like aren't perfect either. I mean, Trip Lee's "Manolo" is one of my favorite songs, but it compares the Bible to a gun, which could be controversial if you look at it through a strict lens. It would be inconsistent for me to accept certain things and latch onto others. And I like Bizzle's message too much to write off his whole verse because of one word. Plus, I make rap music that's not "Christian rap," but I still keep it morally upright and mention God periodically, so I understand the usefulness of using a mainstream appeal to introduce God's message to new audiences. I still disagree with Bizzle's use of the "n-word" in his songs, but it would be hypocritical of me to boycott him or write him off or something, especially since I listen to secular rap that has far worse language in it. Bizzle is an awesome rapper--his Well Wishes album is one of my favorites. The whole GOM crew are super-talented, super-ill rappers, and I'm in no position to hold any mistakes they make against them. Plus it's not worth debating about. Sorry if I offended anyone who saw or replied to my previous comment.
