'Kill All Love Songs' by 'Goldsoul' was released at the end of April 2012 as an exclusive 7" Limited Edition Single (100 Signed Copies) for 'Record Store Day'. It was also the bands second single which was released through 'Vamp Records'.
The video was filmed by 'Craig McGibbon' of 'Frequenc Pictures' and also stars 'FRONT' magazine girl 'Kate Dillingham', who also starred in the video 'Unfinished Business' by 'White Lies'.
Hailing from Barnsley 'Goldsoul' were formed in 2008 by childhood friends 'David Mapson' (guitar/vocals) and 'Darren Pegg' (Bass) after meeting 'Brady Denton' (drums) while they were studying at university. The following few years would see the band's "foot to the floor" attitude earn them support slots with the likes of 'Hatcham Social' and 'Detroit Social Club' as well as national tours with 'The Boxer Rebellion' and 'Twisted Wheel'. Their live shows have been described as "ferocious" with 'Gem Archer' (Oasis), 'Richard Hawley' and 'Nick O'Malley' (Arctic Monkeys) all declaring themselves fans of the band, whilst NME recognised 'Goldsoul' as one of their "Unsigned Ones To Watch".
'Goldsoul' have taken influences from 'Black Rebel Motorcycle Club', 'Primal Scream', 'Oasis', 'Kasabian' and the 'Black Angels' to create a mix of heavy guitar chords, drums, bass and sound vocals, that is thoroughly exposed in their debut single 'Blood Red'.

This is by no means confirmed however, from looking at all the news about 'Goldsoul', it appears that they were looking for a new singer however; it now looks as though the former three-piece are now a duet and have renamed themselves to the 'Shawls'. Here are a few links and we also noticed they've recently released a new video and their sound is now very much psych but hey we love some psych right? If any of you out there no any different then let us know cause we'd very much like to support the band as much as we can:
