Another ex turning point band here.Including the one dude who passed away in 2003 who's name I can never rememberthis is a style of music that literally couldn't exist in 2010.The style here is too far removed from anything going on today to be recognizable to anyone but the oldest and cagiest "scene" vets.Just great unique melodic hardcore. For some reason,I want to call this band the flipside of prema (a band I dug for a long time and still spin regularly) as that band also did a sound that was off the beaten path of hardcore in the early-mid 90s.....

Premas drummer Terence played in Ink & Dagger and his earliest band I saw and may have played with around 91 or 92. Can't remember their name.

You mentioned 1200 but I don't remember Skip being in 1200... Unless I totally forgot... I saw 1200 at the revival with friends and we were all turning point fans and they were excited about 1200 but I was not into it other than thinking they were good band live... When I got home and over time I grew to love that tape and 22 years later I still listen to it!

His name was Skip. At this point, I believe this was basically Turning Point minus Ken. Ken always seemed to want to stay more hardcore, ultimatelly I think thats what happened to that band (Turning Point). Still, Ken F. the all time best hardcore drummer period. And his brother Chris used rock on bass---long live Failsafe!!!!!!
