Track 5.
Songs Of Love And Hate (1996):
A very different approach and sound, leaving their metal sound behind that they've been known for. Yet again a third band member was included. Brian (brain) Mantia played live drums for the first time on a Godflesh record. He left before the tour, to be replaced by Ted Parsons of the band Prong. The band begins to incorporate more dance beats again and the drumming adds a lot to the sound.
Lyrics:
I am nothing, I am love
I am hate, hate my love, love my hate
I am empty, but i'm hopeful
I can see, and i'm fearful
I am nothing, feel like everything
I am scared
empty, empty, empty, empty
