I heard this song and thought he was Musiq Soulchild. Listen to those runs, he sound more like Musiq to me than Stevie. He has range like Musiq, but at the end he kind of mimics Stevie. Listen to another version when he is not singing this song live. Then maybe you can see where I'm coming from. Overall, the brother can blow.

Man I wish he had a new album out. He needs to make the music that pleases him and not give into pressure to be different from his influences or be trendy or whatever. He sings great and writes great and should just do his thing.

Yeah, I wish Glenn and other artists weren't so underrated. I remember hearing how Glenn had to mimic. Stevie Wonder is the staple artist in black house holds as well as in the industry. It's crazy how you have Glenn Lewis, Musiq, Brian McKnight, indie Arie, just to name a few that have been heavily influenced by Stevie Wonder's artistry. It would be great for these singers to receive recognition for their excellence so the next generation can also be influenced by ingenious, innovative gifts.

I had to question many times why everybody, including myself as to why Glenn Lewis sound so much like Stevie Wonder. It's not because he mimics him, Glenn has his own style, I think because of his tone. He has a similar tone and texture next to Stevie wonder as well as K-Ci and Sisqo--Who were also compared in the past. Overall, he's very underrated and needs more shine.
