Glenn Hughes - Smile video free download

A great Glenn Hughes song from his 1977 solo album Play Me Out, Smile is probably one of the least known GH tracks, especially for the fans of his later production. The whole album is really a great bunch of soulful funk with flavours of disco. Hughes played many of the instruments here, but we also hear Dave Holland on drums and the late, great Mel Galley on guitar(s).

Edit: sadly the YouTube mono mix eats some of the Clavinet and synth sounds

You're welcome and sorry it took me three years to reply! I don't remember where I bought the album since it was maybe fifteen years ago, but it seems at least cdon(.com) still sells it.

The other side of Glenn Hughes is as incredible as his rock persona.

At one time even the so-called establishment Rock Press was naming GH one of the best white rock/soul/funk singers during the latter part of the 70s and before his lost decade to drugs and delusion....Him David Bowie were supposedly working on album and lots of other drivel...I love BCC and the work that GH is doing now...I just don't feel this music and GH...Sorry
