He says he wrote the song when he was 18 about his first girlfriend, but he did say he changed some lyrics when he recorded it. I think his songs have multiple meanings, but that Marketa makes her way into a lot of them even as just inspiration, even if he doesn't say so.10 years ago

I'm pretty sure Glen wanted to marry her (2007 EW: "I felt that even back then this girl had become so prominent in my life that she would probably be the girl I'd marry one day"). I wonder at the lyric: "she never said goodbye, only see you later, while I'm making this a plan for you". Haha really now?...
