Never before posted, both sides (in stereo) of the Capitol single lifted from their "Big Bluegrass Special." Because "Kentucky" is only about a minute and a half, you hear two songs in the time it often takes to play one. Note how the credits reads "Green River Boys featuring Glen Campbell."
PS: Glen is one heck of a fine guitarist!

I had "Kentucky" on a Pickwick album released to cash in on Glenn's popularity. That song by the way bubbled under at #119 on the Billboard charts on Dec. 29, 1962, but there was no room left (thanks to both the title and the artists) to list what #120 might have been.Related Videos
