I prefer Whitney Houston's version over Amber's. Don't get me wrong Amber's voice is beautiful, but it doesn't suit the song. Some have said Whitney's voice on the song was "ruined" due to drugs. But it was more age than anything when it came to her on that track. Yes, I do understand autotune also has a play in it, but in one of her last few performances, her voice did not seem ruined. Also, her struggles in life and the age in her voice give the lyrics more flair. The overall song sounds better coming from someone with experience in life
